Container Loads
Full container and truckload volumes of U.S. liquidation merchandise, shipped from our Lumberton, North Carolina warehouse. We export orders every week.
Container sizes we load
Ocean freight is quoted by your forwarder based on destination and container size. The ranges below are typical market costs, not a quote from Discount Wholesalers Inc.
The entry point for export buyers testing a new market or a new category.
The most common export format — the best balance of freight cost and volume.
Lowest cost per unit when you are moving a full truckload equivalent.
Pallet by pallet, or a full container?
Ocean freight runs roughly $400–$1,000 per pallet, while a full container runs $2,500–$6,000 regardless of how full it is. Pick your volume to see where the line crosses.
Freight cost comparison
Based on the freight ranges published on our Shipping & Delivery page.
At this volume the two are close. Pallet-by-pallet can win if your destination is on the low end of the range — worth quoting both.
The container is already ahead — and every pallet you add after this rides for free.
At 20 pallets, shipping loose costs several times what the same volume costs in one container.
A full truckload is 24–26 pallets and up to 22,000+ units. This is the format that makes export margins work.
Freight estimates only. Discount Wholesalers Inc. is not a shipping provider or freight forwarder — your forwarder issues the actual quote.
